Greetings,

I personally don't consider myself a beauty blogger. I'm merely a Makeup Artist who blogs when she gets the urge to post a review about an event, maybe a product, ongoing sales and promotions etc. Very seldom will you see a post from me every day or twice a day. My blog isn't too fancy, although I have a friend working on a new header and layout as we speak, my blog is a simple representation of yours truly.

In the near future you may find posts about products that I've used or that I'm currently using, maybe a slideshow of pictures, a video tutorial and whatever else I feel like blogging about whether it be makeup or non-makeup related.

Holiday Beauty Begins With ME!

Mineral Essence is a new mineral makeup line that carries everything from triple milled foundation, eyeshadow, vitarich lipcolor, glosses, shadow liners and brushes (I love the fluffer, the flathead and the dual angle/smudge brushes!). Unlike the leading mineral makeup line Mineral Essence does not contain the ingredient "oxychloride". What is "oxychloride?" It's a chemical that produces "shine". Not everyone is too fond of that "shiny" look especially those of us with "extra" oily skin. With Mineral Essence that's not something you'd have to worry about. It does however, contain the reflective ingredient "mica" but the only ME products that contain a great amount of mica are some the eyeshadows (some are matte), the shadow liners and shimmer powders. CVS Launches Beauty 360 - Introducing Mineral Essence!

CVS opened it's first Beauty 360 store right here in the nation's capital!!!

WASHINGTON — CVS Pharmacy took its first step upmarket on Monday, lifting the curtain on its high-end beauty store, called Beauty 360.

The first Beauty 360 concept opened here in Dupont Circle adjacent to a CVS Pharmacy. Some 500 more are slated to open over the next several years, with a second store scheduled for early December in Mission Viejo, Calif, said Larry Merlo, CVS’ president of retail.

Inside the store — which is awash in white with brushed-steel accents and a prominent wall of sea foam-colored, hand-cut glass tile — are a host of brands with a more prestige positioning than CVS’ typical mass market assortment....

I'm delighted as well as excited about the grand opening of Beauty 360 as well as being blessed the opportunity to work at the new Dupont Circle location as a Freelance Makeup Artist this coming Tuesday (11.18.08) for the launch of Mineral Essence!!! Mineral Essence (www.mineralessence.com) is a new mineral makeup company with products varying from foundation, eye shadow, a floral scented skin finishing mist and moisture rich lipsticks and lipglosses in an array of colors.
